Terms & Conditions

• The winning bidder fully understands and agrees to deal with the stallion owner or manager on all matters related to breeding his/her mare.
• The winning price is non-refundable. If you choose not to breed in 2027 or your mare does not take this is not the responsibility of the Colorado Classic. If a stallion dies or becomes unfit for service a credit towards a future Colorado Classic auction or event will be given.
• The Colorado Classic Futurity and Derby will NOT mediate between parties if issues arise and will be held harmless in such matters.
• Winning bidder fully understands all fees outside of the stud fee, including but not limited to chute fees, shipping fees, mare care, veterinarian care and more ARE NOT included in the winning bid and will be paid to the stallion management/owner and these prices vary by stallion.
• We HIGHLY encourage every bidder to contact the stallion farm PRIOR to bidding to confirm contract stipulations (farm fees, chute fees, etc).
• The stallion services purchased through the Colorado Classic Stallion Incentive Auction are intended for the 2027 breeding season only.
• The breeding is NON TRANSFERABLE unless approved by stallion owner. Breeding terms and stallion availability are as specified by the stallion owner’s breeding contract.
• Winning emails will be sent out within an hour of the conclusion of the auction. If we do not get confirmation of receipt and notification of paying by check or by PayPal within 48 hours, your credit card on file will be automatically run with the convenience fee added. You can pay immediately by credit card if you choose by clicking on “My Payments” in your auction account.
• Check must clear bank before bidder name will be released to stallion management as the official winner of the stud fee. NO EXCEPTIONS
• Once winning payment has been made emails will be sent to the winning bidder and stallion owner – then you can reach out to them to receive your contract.
• All stallions will have a minimum bid of $500. This includes NO additional fees.
• If you bid on a stallion and do not pay you will be banned from the auction and our event going forward.

The Colorado Classic Stallion Auction & Incentive, operated by Exceleration Designs, Inc. (dba Big Sky Internet Design), offers an optional text-alert program to bidders who opt in: registration confirmations, bid confirmations, outbid alerts, and win/purchase notifications.

• Consent. By providing your mobile number and opting in (checking the consent box and, where applicable, replying YES to our confirmation text) you agree to receive recurring automated texts at that number. Consent is not a condition of registering, bidding, or purchasing. You confirm you are the subscriber or authorized user of the number.
• Frequency and charges. Message frequency varies with your activity. Message and data rates may apply. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
• Opt-out and help. Reply STOP to cancel at any time; reply HELP for help, or contact Kayla Jones at [email protected] or 303-596-3038. Our alerts are sent from a single number shared across the auctions we operate, so replying STOP cancels alerts from all of them, not only this one. To end alerts for this auction only, use the Turn Off All Text Alerts option on your Text Alerts page.
• Availability. The program may not work on all carriers, and we may modify or discontinue it at any time.
• Privacy. Your information is handled per our Privacy Policy.
