Welcome to the Colorado Classic Stallion Incentive!

The stallion incentive auction is the primary fundraiser for the Colorado Classic Futurity and Derby held annually in June. The proceeds of this auction go towards the added money for the stallion incentive futurity, derby and stallion owners’ payout. Our goal is to promote stallions and their progeny and to reward all parties involved in raising these equine athletes – from the stallion owners to the jockeys.

In 2025 the Run at the Rose & Colorado Classic paid out nearly $1,000,000 over the 10 days between both races and all of the incentives that joined us! $297,922 of that amount was paid directly to stallion incentive horses and stallion owners at the Colorado Classic. None of our success would be possible without our amazing sponsors, stallion owners and the contestants that choose the Colorado Classic as an event to highlight their equine athletes.
